Fitness #FollowFriday: Meet Ashleigh Townsend of AshPTraining!

Happy Friday!

This is the second edition of #FollowFriday here on my blog and today I have a really cool person to introduce you to: Ashleigh Townsend.

KateUpdates.com Ashley Townsend

Ashleigh is a professional soccer player, coach and CrossFit athlete in Halifax, UK. He’s also a Paleo eater! Actually, as I’m writing this I’m realizing I should hit him up for some beginner CrossFit advice (get ready for questions, Ashleigh!) Also, it looks like he may have been on the Columbus Crew at one point, which I totally didn’t know until now.

I met Ashleigh through my Whole30 journey. One of my favorite things about Ashleigh is his positive attitude. He shares regular inspirational thoughts on his blog, in addition to workouts, recipes and fitness tips. He believes that no matter where you are in your fitness/health journey, you can become better, stronger and happier if you put your mind to it. His motto: Train Hard. Eat Right. Live Well.

You should definitely check out Ashleigh’s blog because it has a great mix of fitness advice, WODs (workouts of the day) and even Paleo recipes. I like that he is consistent about sharing content on his blog. I know this is VERY hard to do.

You can connect Ashleigh and his team at AshPTraining on Facebook and follow him on Twitter.

I’ll leave you with this yummy *Paleo* Asparagus and Wild Garlic Soup recipe from his blog … Thanks Ashleigh!
