Resources

Here are the resources I am using to get healthy and fit! I hope that they help you as much as they are helping me 🙂

  • Blogilates.com – I absolutely love, love, LOVE this site! This blog by Cassey Ho offers free workouts that are super fun and can fit in the amount of time that you have whether it’s 10 minutes or an hour you can find workouts that work every part of your body. Cassey does a great job of walking you through the routines and encouraging you.
  • The Whole30 Program (it’s free! You just need to commit and use your willpower to transform your life!) This program is seriously changing my life! Never before have I done anything like this and I’m loving it~! Basically, you spend 30 days eating “clean” by cutting out sugar, gluten, dairy, legumes, corn, alcohol and other things that irritate your immune system and harm your body. The focus is on unprocessed foods, meat, veggies, fruit, nuts and healthy oils. I strongly encourage you to do this program. It’s FREE and although it’s very challenging, it’s WORTH IT.
  • Well Fed: Paleo Recipes for People Who Love to Eat – This is the cookbook that I use daily and it really encouraged me to start eating paleo by sharing delicious recipes and most importantly a way to plan your meals for the week. This cookbook helped me feel less overwhelmed with changing my whole way of eating. Definitely worth the investment.
  • It Starts with Food – Guide to eating paleo and the Whole30. This book does a great job of explaining the science behind the foods we eat and lays out simple, easy ways to cook paleo. I’m reading this as I’m doing the Whole30 and it’s super helpful. It tells you what to expect by week and helps you transition after the first 30 days.
