Foodie Resources to Help You Live Healthier + New Paleo Cookbook!

Happy Monday!

I have so many yummy recipes to share with you all this week! It’s going to be fun so get ready! Recipes to come later this week but here’s a sneak peak into what recipes we’ll be reviewing:

  • Black Pepper Crusted Maple Salmon with Coconut Aminios
  • Tomato Basil Soup (from Make it Paleo)
  • Fun ways to use spaghetti squash (for every meal!)
  • Plus, in today’s post, I’ll be sharing some of my TOP Paleo/healthy living resources

Fun, right?!

Alright, today I’ll be sharing/reviewing my TOP Paleo/healthy eating resources. Some you may recognize while others will (hopefully) be new to you. I hope you’re encouraged to try something new this week and mix up your eating habits to keep things interesting. Sometimes, that’s the hardest part!

#1 Cookbooks

OK so I use lots of fabulous cookbooks (like Well Fed and Practical Paleo) and I got a new one in this weekend that I’m dying to share with you:

ImageThis book has 200+ grain-free recipes! Since I’m not doing TV this month, I have been pouring over the beautiful images and reading the recipes to determine what I’d try firs this week. There’s even a dessert section that I was totally drooling over. Of course those are not all Paleo because some involve milk and they should be sampled in moderation or for special occasions. Click the image above to be transported to their site and order the book. You won’t regret it!

That’s the first resource I want to share with you. Invest in cookbooks! It is totally worth your money and if you buy online it’s way cheaper than buying in-store. Cookbooks are essential to my Paleo success because they allow me to mix up my eating and show me how to be creative. Using cookbooks even helps me to start thinking of my own creations.

#2 The Foodee Project

My mom introduced me to this site and it is FABULOUS. You can customize your search and sort recipes gluten-free, dairy-free, whole30, Paleo and by categories and key words like “crock pot.”

The thing I think I love most about this site is that it creates a shopping list and adjusts your ingredients by how many people you’re serving. This is SO helpful! Also, there are always pictures to accompany each recipe, which is a major plus.

#3 Jimmy Moore’s Livin’ La Vida Low Carb Blog

Jimmy has an awesome list that he shares via his blog on a monthly basis where he highlights low carb and Paleo bloggers. It’s super helpful in finding recipe and resources sites. Check out his November Blog list here. Also, check out October’s list because I was one of the featured blogs 🙂

That’s all I have time for today but more fun stuff to come. Let me know if you have a Paleo resource I should be using and I’ll be happy to check it out!
